Beko has become the title sponsor of the LKL
Beko, the international brand of Arcelik Group, continues investing in  basketball. Following its title sponsorshipsof the Turkish, German and Russian Basketball Leagues, Beko has given its name to the Lithuanian Basketball League.

Commencing its journey of basketball sponsorships with the Turkish Basketball League in 2006, Beko, the international brand of Arçelik Group, continues this journey with new sponsorships worldwide. Following the title sponsorships of Turkish, German and Russian Basketball Leagues, Beko has given its name to the basketball league of Lithuania. The Lithuanian Basketball League will now be called Beko LKL.

After becoming the title sponsor of the basketball league of Lithuania, the host of the European Basketball Championships 2011, Beko aims to maintain and increase its investments, which started with the Eurobasket 2011, in Lithuania along with this cooperation.

Lithuania, which is a very successful country in basketball, developed and transferred many basketball stars to NBA and Europe. The national basketball team of the country competes for medals at European and World Championships constantly.

The “dynamic, entertaining and young” character of the Beko brand and technological and energetic nature of basketball first met in 2006. Beko, the international brand of Arçelik Group, became the sponsor of the Turkish Basketball League as a "World Brand". The “All-Star” games, which are organized annually in the league, were played under the title “Beko All-Star”. Maintaining and increasing its basketball investments, Beko decided to take those investments to an international level. Beko signed a long-term contract with “Basketball Bundesliga” of Germany to carry on its investments for league sponsorships. Furthermore, the company added a new one among its league sponsorships by giving its title to the Russian Basketball League in 2011. Following the main sponsorships in 2009 FIBA Asian Basketball Championship (China) and the 2009 FIBA European Basketball Championship (Poland),  the Presenting Sponsorship in the 2010 FIBA World Basketball Championship (Turkey) were very important steps in earning Beko the title “sponsor of basketball”. Most recently, Beko continued its basketball investments as ‘Presenting Sponsor’ of the 2011 European Basketball Championship.
