In the second LKL superfinal game Lietuvos rytas was forced to recognize Zalgiris strength 87:80.

Zalgiris at home  started it off very well and got an early lead in double figures as Jonas Mačiulis and DeJuanas Collinsas made the basket after 5 minutes of play in the first quarter.

Still Lietuvos Rytas reduced their deficit to 9 points as the first period ended – 27:18.

It seemed like Aleksandar Trifunovic made the right adjustments after this horrible first quarter and Lietuvos Rytas looked way better later on. They tied the game and got a 6 points without answer  in the first minutes.  Small difference between teams was until the end of second quarter - 48:42.

But Zalgiris in the third quarter has find new leader – Damir Markota scored 8 points, J.Maciulis  -  two with foul and result was 70:61 up by Kaunas team. In the last minute of third quarter Zalgiris with D.Collins and D.Markota help  increased they advantage - 75:64.

Last quarter stardet with guests points (10:1) and this game was very nervous. Both teams was not able to attack but first empty minutes filled up Zalgiris players – M.Brown and E.Zukauskas -  82:76.

When one minute was left, Zalgiris still was in front (84:80). They showed more succesfull play and celebrated victorie.
