Alytus faced a pretty good challenge against Siauliai in the first minutes  of the LKL bronze final, but Siauliai totally erupted in the second quarter and outshined the opponents  110:85.

Alytus  took an early 10:4 lead, but Siualiai  scored 16 points without an answer and overbalanced the score in their favor – 20:10. After the first quarter hosts led 26:17.

In the second period Siauliai,  put the team in control  – 50:26 (5min.). Hosts has made 4 three-pointers. Until the and of this quarter Siauliai looked much better  and players went to the locker-rooms as the scoreboard showed 65:44 up by Siauliai.

 

Having that kind of advantage Siauliai did not blow it away and made  big first step in the battle for bronze.
