Bickauskis headlines the Betsafe LKL Team of the Week
Juventus guard Dovis Bickauskis was named the Betsafe LKL Player of the Week for the first time in his career after leading the short-handed Utena side to a sensational victory against Lietkabelis.
The 24-year-old point guard posted a career-high 30 points, while adding 5 rebounds and 9 assists in a 105-95 triumph on their home floor to improve to an 11-18 record in the standings.
"It feels great to receive this award. It will be extra motivation for the upcoming games," Bickauskis told LKL.LT. "These wins mean a lot. We don't have a lot of healthy guys left so it's very important that we earned it with our fighting spirit."
He led the league in efficiency this week with a total ranking of 36.
His Juventus teammate Arvdas Siksnius also made the Team of the Week alongside Arminas Urbutis and Laurynas Birutis of Siauliai and Lietkabelis swingman Zanis Peiners.
