Omogbo snatches up Betsafe LKL Player of the Week award

Emmanuel Omogbo earned the Betsafe LKL Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after leading Pieno Zvaigzdes to an upset victory over Lietkabelis.

The 23-year-old set a new season-best in efficiency with an index of 37 with 26 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals and 8 fouls drawn in the 87-81 triumph at home in Pasvalys.

The previous best of 36 belonged to Vaidas Cepukaitis while Omogbo had registered an efficiency of 35 earlier in the season.

Joining him in the Team of the Week are Skycop enter Darjus Lavrinovic, Dominique Sutton of Rytas, Nevezis guard Martynas Varnas and Lietkabelis playmaker Jamar Wilson.
