Nevezis and Siauliai get wins on Wednesday

Nevezis and Siauliai were victorious on Wednesday evening in the Betsafe LKL, defeating Neptunas and Vytautas respectively to improve their position in the standings before the start of the Play-Offs which are just around the corner.

Nevezis registered a 74-67 upset over the struggling Neptunas with Aleksandr Zakharov scoring a game-high and Gabrielius Maldunas adding 15 points and 10 rebounds. Gintautas Matulis chipped in with 11 points.

Renaldas Seibutis was the top scorer for Neptunas with 16 points.

In the other game, Siauliai topped Vytautas 73-69 to stay fifth in the table and keep Vytautas in last place for the time being. Laurynas Birutis led the way with 17 points and 8 boards while Arminas Urbutis double-doubled with 15 points and 11 boards.

Eigirdas Zukauskas had a game-high 18 points, while Edvinas Seskus and Kervin Bristol scored 11 and 10 points, respectively.
