It did not take long for Betsafe LKL runners-up Rytas Vilnius to find a replacement for the departing shooting guard Ben Madgen, with the club announcing the acquisition of D.J. Seeley.

The arrival of the 28-year-old American player comes just a days after the club parted ways with Madgen, who is set to continue his career in Germany.

Seeley last played for Gran Canaria in Spain, averaging 10.7 points and 2.7 assists in EuroCup last season. He put up similar numbers in the domestic championship, scoring 10.6 points and dishing out 2.5 assists per game.

During his professional career, he has played for teams in Serbia, Germany, USA and Turkey, as well as Spain and Israel representing European powerhouses Gran Canaria and Maccabi Tel Aviv over the past three seasons.
